THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for the commercial product prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 & FAR Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.


This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation number M00263-18-Q-1023 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using the commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. The request for quote procedures are in accordance with FAR Part 13 the solicitation document, and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 and DFARS Publication 20170119.


The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract for Omni Branded Furniture. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote and the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337215 with a size standard of 500 employees.


All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in SF 1449 M0023-18-Q-1023 attached to this synopsis. Offeror responding to this announcement shall submit their quote in accordance with FAR Part 12.


The basis for the award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Prospective contractor shall have satisfactory past performance within the last 36 months.


Technical Acceptability is defined as meeting all specifications. You must address each specification and each deliverable. Quotes shall be ranked in order of lowest price to highest price. The lowest-priced quotation shall be evaluated first. If the lowest-priced quotation is technically acceptable, no other quotations will be evaluated.


The contract award will be awarded from initial offers. There will be no discussions.


The offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer.  The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.  All other additional contract requirements for this acquisition can be found in the attached SF 1449.


The closing date and time for this solicitation is 29 May @11:00 A.M (EASTERN.)
