OLIVINE MINERAL ABRASIVE
This requirement is for a contractor to provide an abrasive to be used at the Anniston Army Depot facility. The abrasive shall be olivine mineral composition, sub-angular in shape. The abrasive shall contain no free metallics. The abrasive shall be medium or standard grade 70 (GL70) materials. Deliveries shall be scheduled on a monthly basis. All additional details will be provided in the government's solicitation. This acquisition is an unrestricted procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 327910 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 12 November 2014. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
