OKTODIG IVR Application
The Public Utilities Commission (PUC or the Commission) has an Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) application that is a supplement to the Dig Safe system. The IVR application allows excavators to call a toll-free number (1-866-OKTODIG), indicate alphanumerically the name of the town where the excavation will occur, receive a report listing non-member utility contact information, if any, and a message indicating whether the excavator must also call the Dig Safe system.
The Commission is seeking a contractor whose responsibility will be to produce applications that, at a minimum, have the same functionality as the current applications. Additionally, the vendor will be responsible for all aspects of system development, programming, operation, maintenance, and hosting.
