Multiple NSNs for AH-64 Apache Helicopter Weapon System, Sole Source, Long Term Contract OEM Boeing Company

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs to support the AH-64 weapon systems. A total of 4 NSNs are targeted to be added or repriced for this contract effort. The proposed sole source action will be issued to Boeing Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 8V613 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Items provided by the following Boeing CAGE codes covered by this acquisition: 32562, 022T1, 02731, 1GTA0, 18355, 4PF93, 48D66, 17765, 48T42, 0APX0, 0PXV4, 38YR6, 94756, 18441, 48BM4, 48LF5, 43999, 81205, 82918, 8V613, 76301 and 77272.


The proposed requirement will be for a total of five (5) years period of performance as follows, year one 17 September 2018 through 16 September 2019, year two 17 September 2019 through 16 September 2020, year three 17 September 2020 through 16 September 2021 year four 17 September 2021 through 16 September 2022 and year five 17 September 2022 through 16 September 2023. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The attached lists of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.


These items are being added to contract SPRPA1-14-D-002U, a firm fixed price with price redetermination Indefinite Quantity Contract, awarded to The Boeing Company CAGE Code: 0PXV4 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSNs identified here were not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
