OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES AT INDIAN RIVER JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY (IRJCF)
The Occupational Therapist shall provide on-site services, to include development of a
comfort/sensory room on all units, training for staff on the use of the comfort/sensory room.
Assessment of all youth placed on the mental health unit to determine appropriate treatment services;
provision of individual and group interventions; and participation in planned administrative and clinical meetings, inclusive of the weekly Multidisciplinary Team meeting, to include other treatment professionals at the facility.
