OBOE AND BASSOON INSTRUMENTAL INSTRUCTORS
The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing one (1) Oboe Instructor and (1) Bassoon Instructor for Naval School of Music, VA Beach, VA in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) incorporated within the attached RFQ N00189-17-Q-G011. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil). The RFQ number is N00189-17-Q-G011.
The NAICS code is 711130 b Musical Groups and Artists, and the small business standard is $11.0 Million dollars. This requirement is being advertised as 100% small business set-aside. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contract Specialist via e-mail ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendorbs responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
