Notice of 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns
This is a combined synopsis solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR part 36. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested under AG-8371-S-14-0057. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business size standard is 14 million dollars. This project consists of tasks associated with the environmental remediation and reconstruction of the O'Leary Lookout Tower and Big Springs Lookout Tower cabins located on the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests. These structures are constructed with materials containing asbestos and lead based paint. Asbestos and lead are hazardous materials under the Comprehensive, Environmental, Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Work activities include the performance of lead-based paint and asbestos confirmation sampling and analysis, hazardous materials abatement and disposal, and structure reconstruction at O'Leary Lookout Tower and Big Springs Lookout Tower cabins. The resultant contract from this solicitation will be Firm Fixed Price. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). There is no fee to register on the official Government SAM website www.sam.gov .Offerors who are not registered in SAM may be considered nonresponsive and will not be considered in the evaluation. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for services and construction are included and are applicable.
