This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 36C24219Q0183 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99-1 effective July 16, 2018. This requirement is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small Business and the associated NAICS Code for this combined synopsis/solicitation is 722310 Food Service Contractors with a Size Standard $38.5 million. The CLINS associated with this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation are contained within the attached SF1449.The estimated period of performance is Date of Award 01/31/2021 with services performed for the James J. Peters (JJP) VA Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468. The FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, , FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Please see attached for additional applicable terms and conditions which govern this action. Offerors shall submit their responses by no later than 9:00 AM (EST), January 23, 2019. Offers will only be accepted via E-mail to Eulanda James, Contracting Officer at Eulanda.James@va.gov. Electronic documents shall be submitted in .pdf, and restricted to emails of less than 10MB as that is maximum single email size allowable. Communication containing documents in any other format may be blocked or stripped by the Government's server and may not be received by this office.
