Nursing Home Care Services
The State seeks emergency residential care placement for APS clients in nursing home facilities licensed by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). Services include twenty-four hour care in a DADS-licensed nursing home for a client who has not yet been determined to be eligible for Medicaid and whose income and resources are insufficient to pay for care. Services may include personal care, nursing services, supervision, food, and room provision. Services also include application for Medicaid on behalf of the client.
