Nuisance Wildlife and Pond Management
The Department of Veterans Affairs will be soliciting for Nuisance Wildlife and Pond Management Services for the Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA 24153. A Request for Quote will be issued on or about January 30, 2017. This requirement shall be performed by certified, trained and licensed operators. If any Pesticides or herbicides are used or anticipated to be used at any time during the performance of the contract, the vendor shall provide a commercial applicator license or registered technician license with the quote. All vendors shall provide a copy of their Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries Commercial Nuisance Annual Permit. Services shall be performed in accordance with the Animal Society for the Cruelty of Animals (ASPCA) regulations.
The period of performance is April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018 with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. This is a 100% small business set-aside. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov.
The applicable NAICS Code is 114210 Hunting and Trapping, size standard $5.5 Million.
