Nuclear Ship Repair
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard intends to issue an order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, Newport News Shipbuilding (HIINC), 4104 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 23607. The proposed BOA order is a sole-source action for repair in support of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. HIINC is the only known source with the detailed knowledge of and familiarity with nuclear aircraft carriers qualified to perform the required work.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal to be considered by the agency. Firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact HIINC directly.
