Notice of intent to sole source rental of repeater radios currently installed at NAWS China Lake, CA
NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego b Seal Beach Detachment intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Lorimar Group, 1488 Pioneer Way, Suite 14, El Cajon, CA, 92020.
The proposed contract action is for the rental of 4WM-LG two way ratios and 25M-LG two way radio rentals which are currently already installed at Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake, CA. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with the current contractor who installed to ratios as implemented under FAR 13.106-1 Soliciting Competition (b)(1).
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail to melissa.ferri@navy.mil. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by December 4th, 2017 at 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time.
If no responses are received, FLCSD-Seal Beach will proceed with the sole source award
