Notice of Intent to Sole Source
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Jackson intends to award, on a sole source basis, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), a modification to purchase order W9124C-13-P-0035 held by Marple Leasing,3015 W Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 190018, to extend the period of performance for an additional three month with a one month option due to a delay in an ongoing construction project at Moncrief Army Community Hospital. The purchase order is for the temporary lease of a temperature controlled box truck. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 532120, Truck, Utility Trailer, and Recreational Vehicle Rental and Leasing. This is not a request for competitive proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm is capable of providing this type of temporary lease, you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet this requirement. If no affirmative response is received, this modification will be awarded without further notice.
