Notice of Intent to Sole Source for PolitcoPro Subscription Services
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion(NCCDPHP), Office of the Director (OD) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Politico, LLC of Arlington, VA.
The purpose of this procurement is to acquire access to the online policy intelligence platform PoliticoPro. PoliticioPro provides personalized content, recommendations and intelligence on regulatory and legislative news that impacts federal agencies.
PoliticoPro simplifies translation of regulatory and legislative actions and their impact on stakeholders (internal and external), facilitates effective communication with Congressional Members, and advanced legislative tools to aid in the prioritization and tracking of legislative bills.
To the best of the Government's knowledge, no commercially available product exists in the marketplace that will provide the size, scope, or depth of legislative and regulatory actions offered by the PoliticoPro platform. By virtue, Politco LLC is uniquely qualified and capable of carrying out the requirement of this proposed contract.
The anticipated award date is August 31, 2019
This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available.
Firms that believe they can provide this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification, as well as, a capability statement to the contracting office by 12:00 p.m. eastern standard time 30 August 2019. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within its discretion. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
