NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE-SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a single-source contract to NXT, LLC. for Sustainment and Maintenance Support Services of the Automated Flight Inspection System (AFIS) currently used by the FAA. This procurement is single-source due to proprietary data rights as well as specialized expertise.
    
Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures.
