The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Baltimore, Maryland that will be expiring on January 31, 2015. The current lease contains one 5-year renewal option. The Government intends to exercise this renewal option at the end of the existing term.
The Government will only consider alternative space if economically advantageous and if the occupancy date can be met. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The impact on the agency’s mission will also be assessed.
