Notice of Intent to Award
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), BEP IT Acquisition Branch intends to award on a sole source basis to Aventura Technologies, Inc., 180 Adams Avenue, Hauppauge, NY 11788 for Digital Video Recording Systems (DVRS) support services for the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Ft. Worth, TX for the period of July 1 - September 21, 2014. This is a short-term bridge contract until a competitive small business set-aside can be executed and awarded via GSA eBuy (RFQ 889613 which should be issued by July 3, 2014).
The government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organization must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but no later than 10:00 am Eastern time on Monday, June 30, 2014. E-mailed statements are acceptable, but the senders bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to [email protected]. ; Vendors must include evidence as meeting the security badging requirements and technical requirements of supporting the DVRS systems. Any such statement of capabilities and qualifications received by the deadline will be evaluated to be included in the follow-on competition which will be solicited by July 3, 2014.
