Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Task Order
The prospective contractor shall provide support to the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Integrated Topside Program and the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) for development, testing, integration and experimentation requiring the Virtual AEGIS Combat System Simulation (VACSSim). LM MST will install and support a VACSSim simulation at the Virtual Warfare Center (VWC), St Louis, MO, the Naval Research Lab (NRL) at Chesapeake Beach, MD, and the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) in Fallon, NV. ONR intends to award this requirement sole source to LM MST because they are the prime contractor that developed the AEGIS Weapon System and related software including VACSSim software.
