The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Asset Management Services Office (AMSO), Leased Property Management Services (LPMS), intends to award a sole source contract to Government Properties Income Trust (Government Properties) 3 Corporate Boulevard, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30329 for the purchase of office building alteration, and renovation services of their leased property.

The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The NAICS code for this procurement is 531120, Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Miniwarehouses).


As the owner of the leased property, Government Properties is the only source that can approve the property's alteration or renovation and therefore they are the sole source for this requirement.


As a result of this synopsis, no competitive solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps. We will issue only one solicitation to Government Properties. However, all responsible sources that believe they can meet these requirements may submit their capabilities/qualifications statement to provide these services to Mike Davis VIA EMAIL ONLY at VWL8@CDC.GOV with the solicitation number 93357 referenced in the subject line NO LATER THAN March 28, 2017. The Contracting Officer will not respond to verbal requests. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING.


A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action will be based on responses to this notice and are solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
