Notice of Intent for Sole Source
Pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Medtronic USA Inc. in the total amount of $91,950.00 for maintenance services of the Fusion ENT Navigation System. This contract will be for a base plus two option years at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. Medtronic USA Inc. is the manufacturer and only Medtronic or authorized representatives of Medtronic may perform maintenance on this equipment or the warranty will void. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist; Ms. Christina McMurtry, christina.m.mcmurtry.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
