Notice of Intent to Sole Source
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL - In pursuant to FAR 5.203(a),
Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of Defense Information Service Agency (DISA)/Joint Service Provider (JSP), intends to award a firm fixed price bridge contract on a sole source basis to Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation, 505 10th Street, Atlanta, GA 30318. The current contract no. HQ0034-15-C-0046 ends on December 11, 2017. The period of performance shall be for six months base period with six months of services under FAR 52.217-8, "Extension of Services."
The anticipated award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This effort is in support of the Special Access Program (SAP) Offices of under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I)), Policy (OUSD(P)) and Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (OUSD(AT&L)) to continue the operations, maintenance, development, and deployment of the Secure Integration Cloud (SIC) and the encompassing system architecture known as Secure Web Services (SWS). The Government is currently working on a follow-on requirement with an anticipated award in fiscal year 2018 to 2019.
The NAICS code for this requirement is 611310 -Colleges, Universities and Professional schools, with a size standard of $27.5 million.
