This is a notice of intent for the General Services Administration to solicit space for the Social Security Administration in Birmingham, AL from MSDG Birmingham LLC, 2600 Chandler Drive Bowling Green, KY 42101, the current Lessor. The Government will negotiate a sole source succeeding lease at the existing location: 1972 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235-3227. This is due to the economic benefits, i.e. relocation/moving of personal property, telecommunication relocation, disruption, and tenant improvement costs which are not expected to be recovered through full and open competition. The government will negotiate with the current Lessor to lease approximately 16,544 rentable square feet of office space for the Social Security Administration.
Required: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy: The space is required on or before May 1, 2014.
