Notice of Contract Action, Generator Test Stand
SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR
the following to be provided by Avtron Aerospace or equivalent. The Air Force Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Avtron Aerospace, 7900 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Independence OH 44131.
The following line item is required:
K400B-XL Generator Test Stand ATE++2nd Edition and NI M-series - Computer 32-bit software and NI upgrade to K-400B-XL Generator
The ATE++2nd Edition and NI M-series upgrade is required to ensure continued K400B-XL system support including product upgrades to eliminate support issues due to obsolete components. The K400B-XL Generator Test Stand is used to test and troubleshoot the F-16, Constant Speed Drive and 60 KVA Generator and the T-38, 8 KVA Generator.
Ship Date: 20 Months ARO FOB: Destination, Edwards AFB CA 93524.

Any decision to solicit as a competitive open market acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. Any affirmative responses are due by 12 noon PST, 19 May 2014.
