Notice Intent to Sole Source
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference #: N0025917N0058. Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Omni Guides, Inc.; 4 Maguire Road.; Lexington, MA 02421-3112. The objective of this sole source award is to Omni Guides Laser Fibers.
ENT/OTO Fibers Characteristics must include:
1. FDA approved
2. Minimal
3. Compatible with Omniguide CO2 Laser
4. Fibers are compatible with ENT Fiber handpieces
5. Fibers must be at least 180cm long and flexible
6. Accurate dissection
7. Handheld
8. Flexible
9. Scar tissue dissection
10. Continuous wave fiber
11. Spot size= 0.25mm, Outside Diameter= 0.55mm. Set of 10 fibers
Omni Guides, Inc. is the manufacturer and sole distributor of the needed items. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339112; the small business size standard is 1000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 08:00 AM Pacific Time on April 26, 2017 may be considered by the Government.
Responses shall be submitted to Aratiya Lusk at aratiya.k.lusk.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Naval Medical Center San Diego, Intent to Award Sole Source to Omni Guides, Inc." A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
