3. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Additionally, the Government will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.
4. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with solicitation number 129JGP19Q0016.
5. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101 effective 26 October 2018.
6. Contractor Responsibility: The Contractor shall provide all items necessary--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the required items according to the specifications and SOW.
7. Description of Work: Requirement consists of contractor felling hazardous trees with the Bass Lake District Ranger, North Fork Compound, located at 57003 Road 225. North Fork, CA. 93643.
The Project consists of tree felling at Bass Lake Ranger District at the North Fork compound. The trees are in proximity to buildings and power lines. Trees are to be fell and limbed. Trees are to be cut into 10' lengths or shorter. Limbed branches are to be piled in designated landing and left for the Forest Service to dispose of.
