Background
The Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Low Band (LB) (NGJ-LB) program is a Department of Defense (DoD) program intended to replace the aging ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) currently used on the EA-18G aircraft for Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA). The Navy's desire is to develop a Low Band TJS for implementation as soon as possible.

 

Information/Requirement

This notice constitutes a NAVAIR Solicitation. The NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAIR) is issuing a full and open solicitation for a Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contract for the NGJ LB Capability Block 1 (CB1) phase of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) program. The contract will include the design, development, build, integration, test, and maintenance (of the test assets) of a complete solution for low band capability, including two (2) Captive Mass Model Aeromechanical Pods, four (4) Jettison Mass Model Pods, two (2) Mission System Prototype Test Pods, eight (8) Operational Prototype Pods, two (2) Technique Development Stations and ten (10) Pod Simulators. This announcement and any modifications to this announcement will be available through 17 January 2020 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). Proposal submission, instructions are provided in Section L of this solicitation. The cost of preparing proposals in response to this announcement must be in accordance with the provisions of FAR 31.205-18.

NAVAIR intends to make best efforts to respond to questions regarding this solicitation that are received by 31 October 2019, however NAVAIR reserves the right not to respond to some questions. Please submit questions to the POC provided via this notice. NAVAIR responses will be provided via the technical library.
