New Mexico Portal Project Solicitation
The Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) of the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors with a history of successful design, development and deployment of enterprise solutions to improve the delivery of the Department's information and services. The primary focus initially is on the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) and establishing a Portal environment to provide alternatives to the ways citizens, businesses and other government entities access MVD information and services. Many New Mexicans interact with MVD; therefore, the efficiency and effectiveness with which MVD provides information and delivers its services has an influence on the perceptions New Mexicans have of their State government. The MVD Portal is to be a "self-funded" and "self-supporting" model that does not require state appropriated funds or tax dollars for development and or operations.
