The New Mexico FIA Plot project includes, but is not limited to, locating and measuring FIA Forest Inventory plots on public and private lands, providing digital delivery of data, and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment (including all computer hardware and software deemed necessary to perform the requirements of the contract), supervision, transportation, operating supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals. The Contractor shall also furnish the following personnel requirements in performance of the contract: Each crew must have a crew leader with undergraduate courses* in mensuration, tree identification, plant identification, silviculture, and ecology and three months prior experience collecting data for Forest inventory, including stand exams, or vegetation classification. Other crew members must have undergraduate courses* in mensuration and tree identification.


It is anticipated that this project will be on a base plus four option year contract. A pre-proposal conference will be upon request. All participants must RSVP by April 19, 2019 by contacting Anthony Salas by email at asalas@fs.fed.us.



Work is estimated to begin around June 1, 2019 and completion of all required plots by September 30, 2019. The option years are estimated to begin April 1 of each subsequent year and completion of all required plots by September 30 of that award year.



This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS Code 115310. Offerors shall submit all questions in writing by April 26, 2019. Questions shall be sent to asalas@fs.fed.us. Submit your proposal electronically to asalas@fs.fed.us, no later than May 3, 2019 11:00am MT.
