New Light Fixtures
Provide lamps (Philips or equal). Lamps are to be fluorescent color temperature and minimum color-rendering index:
4100 K and minimum 75 CRI, unless otherwise indicated.
Non compact Fluorescent Lamp Life: Rated average is 20,000 hours at 3 hours per start when used on rapid-start circuits.
Compact fluorescent lamps must be shipped installed in fixtures.
All Exit Signs shall be type X unless noted otherwise. They must comply with UL 9234.
Internally Lighted Signs:
1) Lamps for AC Operation: Light-emitting diodes (LED, 100,000 hours minimum rated lamp life
2) Lamps for battery operation: Light-emitting diodes (LED), 100,000 hours minimum rated lamp life. Provide
battery and charging system integral to exit sign.

All fluorescent lamps must be low mercury type
All fluorescent ballasts must be electronic.
56 each Type A Ceiling Fan with a 14 degree blade pitch. Shall have open loops for blade hardware.
216 each Type B 6 Fluorescent Downlights
35 each Type G 6 Fluorescent Downlights
64 each Type L Decorative Fluorescent Sconce Spec Grade. Must have fully shaded or partially shaded
(perforated) housing. Must have rounded edges.
20 each Type X Exit Sign, Edge Lit Type, AC Type
56 each Type Y Decorative Emergency Lighting Unit with brushed nickel finish.
60 each Type M Decorative Fluorescent Sconce Spec Grade shall have rounded edges.
18 each Type N Decorative Incandescent Vanity Fixture, shall be fluted.
