This is a sources-sought announcement only for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to accomplish market research and support planning for the below listed requirements. The Government will not pay for any information or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this RFI. No solicitation is being issued at this time. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

The Government is seeking interested contractors for a contract to provide PATRIOT New Equipment Training (NET) training for the Patriot Missile Weapon System. The Government does not have a Technical Data Package to provide for the New Equipment Training.

The Government requirement is for training on Staff Planners Orientation Courses (SPOCs), NET Courses and Depot Training Courses. The contractor will be responsible for updating and developing training materials for all current PATRIOT missile training courses. Training will provide a base for U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). NET training will be provided to units and personnel when system modifications take place. Tasks trained will include threat, employment and deployment capabilities, and characteristics of the PAC-3 changes.

Request that interested contractors provide the following:

1) Provide a description of your company's experience and capabilities with establishing and providing individual, unit, staff and depot level training to Army customers.

2) Provide a description of your company's experience in training on the PAC-3 Patriot Missile System.

3.) Describe how your company intends to develop all materials; construct lesson plans; and hire, train and retain qualified instructors on the PAC-3 Missile system, needed to perform all required training in for the next 36 months in accordance with the Government's requirements.

The experience/expertise description should be no longer than 5 pages. Responses will not be returned nor will be considered by the Government as offers.
