New Allied Health Sciences Building

The purpose of this proposal is to obtain professional architectural/engineering services, design through construction, plus
commissioning. Design services for possible LEED certification, at a level to be determined, are to be included. The
project is comprised of constructing a new two story 40,500 GSF Allied Health and Human Services Building with 12,500
GSF devoted to Allied Health program needs and support spaces and 28,000 GSF devoted to General Sciences program
needs and support spaces. Additionally, re-purposing the existing lab spaces in the existing West Building slated to be
vacated through relocation to the new building on the BGSU Firelands Campus is included. 13,600 GSF of existing space
within the existing 60,000 GSF West Building is to be renovated to accommodate 7 new classrooms, office space, an
expanded Nursing program and a relocated Geology and Astronomy program.
