New Access Road Improvements
The Finch-Henry Job Corps Center is requesting quotes for the New Access Road Improvements. Work includes removing existing paved surface and asphalt base course of these sections of the road to provide for at least 6 inches of aggregate base, 2 inches of asphalt base, and 1-1/2 inches of hot mix asphalt surface all of which must match MDOT (Mississippi DOT) specifications for residental roads. Provide a neat, smooth, and seamless transition from a newly paved areas to any adjacent concrete, paved asphalt, roadway, or any drain guttering that may come in contact with new pavement. Must meet existing grade, and not disrupt current drainage paths.
There will be a mandatory Pre-Quote Meeting and Walk-through on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Finch-Henry Job Corps Center. The meeting will be held in the conference room of Building #1, Administration/Health Services. All interested vendors must attend the meeting and walk-through in order for the quotes to be accepted.
