New, REMAN and REMAN conversion of V903 engines and cores
This procurement is sole sourced to Cummins Inc.
The supplies to be acquired under the proposed contract are new and re-manufactured Series V903 Cummins diesel engines in support of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems (BFVS); BFVS Engineering Change Proposal 2 (ECP2) program, including Authorized Stockage List (ASL) spares; M109 Family of Vehicles (FOV) Full Rate Production (FRP) program, including ASL spares; the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) FRP program; TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) spares; and Engineering Support to Items in Production (ESIP). The V903 series includes the 600 HP and the 675 HP engine, as well as any updated configurations. This action will result in a 5-year, Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract on a sole source basis with Cummins, Inc. of Columbus, Indiana (CAGE 15434).
