The City and County of Denver is looking for the selected vendor to replicate current services
but will consider replacement of services for new and emerging technologies, which provide
same or increased service, and integration into the Citys infrastructure. New and emerging
technologies must provide for survivability due to vendor outages, disaster recovery and all
parameters as expected for services currently requested. This proposal is for all data network and
voice services that are supported by the Technology Services Department utilizing the Network
Services Agreement for all voice and data services supplied to the City and County of Denver
Government agencies regardless of the medium by which it is transported (i.e. fiber and /or
copper). The configuration of requested voice installation over leased circuits should be easily
accommodated regardless of the service or physical medium used. Contracts currently in place
will roll into this contract once expired. The intent of this RFP is to select one vendor (the
Vendor) to supply all services as an all or none proposal; however the City reserves the right to
make multiple awards if it is deemed to be in the Citys best interest to do so. Proposers also
have the opportunity to partner with providers in the event they do not have the ability to provide
specific services described within this RFP. In the instance where a proposer chooses to partner
with another entity, the vendor responding to this RFP as the lead entity is the sole responsible
entity under this process and any contract awarded for all services, terms and expectations under
this RFP.
