NetApp Renewal and support
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service (ERS), is issuing an Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Purchase Order for NetApp renewal and support for Non-Returnable Disk Plus, Serial Number 700000488909, 700000488911 and Support Edge Secure Serial Numbers; 700000488909, 700000488911, 5001318961, and 5001319472. The contract shall provide replacement parts for failed components within the ERS Net App Infrastructure. This service will be an automated process where the NetApp infrastructure relays information to the vendor and to ERS Staff when a component has failed. Delivery contacts will be pre-arranged and the replacement part(s) will be delivered to ERS IT staff within four (4) hours. Should ERS IT staff need assistance with replacing the failed component or with software upgrades that may be required of the replaced component, NetApp support staff will provide guidance/support until the failed component(s) are installed, configured, and operating per specification. The acquisition will be solicited using the procurement process prescribed in Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, of the Federal Acquisition Requlations (FAR). A Firm-Fixed price contract will be awarded for a period of six (6) months to the offer, or conforming to the solicitation. An award will be made on the lowest price, technically acceptable basis.
The Government reserves the right , to award a contract based on initial offers. Therefore, each proposal should be submitted from the offeror's most favorable technical and price standpoints.
Solicitation documents will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. ; No hard copies will be issued and no written or fax requests will be accepted. The NAICS Code for this project is 519190 with a size standard of $25500000. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database as required by FAR 4.1102 at time of submission. Award will be made as a single award to one offeror.
