Neighborhood Redevelopment LEED-ND Master Plan
The City seeks proposals from qualified planning and design consulting firms to prepare a conceptual master plan for the redevelopment of the neighborhood that would achieve LEED-ND certification. The City is currently acquiring and clearing all the properties in the area using both federal and local funding. Once cleared, a developer will eventually be selected to redevelop the area with a mix of housing types and with a design consistent with an adopted master plan that achieves LEED-ND goals. The purpose of this RFQ is to select a firm that can help the City prepare a conceptual master plan that would serve as a vision and guide for the eventual redevelopment of the area to be certified as LEED-ND. The City would use the conceptual master plan to solicit interest from qualified developers. The selected firm will have experience with master site planning with a specific knowledge and experience with LEED-ND concepts and requirements. Up to $30,000 has been budgeted for securing a firm to complete the conceptual master plan.
