Navajo Housing seeking financial consulting
The Navajo Housing Authority (NHA) is hereby contacting prospective consulting firms to assist the Finance & Accounting Department with (1) the review and analysis of various general ledger accounts to ensure proper accounting treatment per Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as the Department transitions to a new Financial Management System and (2) the assessment, development and implementation of various accounting procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, NHA policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other pertinent accounting rules (i.e., GASB, LIHTC, etc.).
All interested firms are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with instructions for this RFP. Detail instructions may be obtained from the NHA Purchasing Department at Route N54, Old Coalmine Rd. in Ft. Defiance, AZ by calling (928) 729-6371/6305 or via email [email protected] and requesting RFP #137 - NHA CPA Consultant. All Proposals must be received by August 01, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. (MDST). No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted. Indian Preference will be applied (24 CFR 1000.52).
