Native-owned sources sought for 10-ton crane repair. The BIA San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP) is seeking Indian-owned sources in accordance with the Buy Indian Act and Dept. of Interior Acquisition Regulation Part 1480. Native-owned sources may contact randall.brown@bia.gov phone (520) 723-6208 expressing interest. The results from this Fedbizopps notice will be used as market research. Statement of work is listed below.
General Description: The San Carlos Irrigation Project is requesting an acquisition to provide repairs and testing to an existing P&H 40/10 ton crane located at the Coolidge Dam in San Carlos, Arizona. Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to repair the unit back to operational condition. When the repairs are completed, Contractor shall also provide certification on load testing requirements that meet industry lifting standards. Work Description:     Remove existing damaged wire rope and load limiting device     Install new wire rope and load limiting device     Fill hoist gear boxes with oil as needed     Test operation     Load test and certify as safe and operational In the event additional work is needed after testing and inspection, contractor will notify us for approval.
