The NYC Venture Philanthropy Fund (VPF), a giving circle launched in 2008 to support social entrepreneurs in New York City across a variety of fields, announces that it is accepting grant proposals from local nonprofits that seek to protect or improve the environment. The grantee selected will receive a one-year $10,000 cash grant, technical assistance and access to VPFs professional and social networks. The deadline for proposal submissions has been extended to Friday September 26, 2008.
