Solicitation for NSN: 1680-01-124-6162; 068390294; Rod, Actuator, Linear; Simmonds, Precision Products, Inc., (Cage 12511); P/N A7320. Simmonds is the only approved source for this item. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, please do not submit requests. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) package. A request for proposal (RFP) will be issued for a firm fixed-price quantity of 113 each. This is not a critical application and is not a Critical Safety item. This solicitation will be solicited as an unrestricted acquisition and result in a firm fixed-price contract without options. The required delivery schedule is 146 days ARO, FOB origin, inspection/acceptance origin. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS). All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. You must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM registration is at http://www.sam.gov. ; A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. The solicitation issue date is on or around September 21, 2017 and the anticipated closing date is on or around October 21, 2017.
