Amendment 2 provides for a revision to a Paragraph within the Specification.  Additionally this amendment provides responses to Offeror question and Answer dated March 14, 2018.

Amendment 1 provides for an extension of the due date to a new Proposal Due date of close of Business March 29, 2018.  Additionally this amendment is requesting five (5) printed copies of the Technical Proposal.  Refrence Attachment A1 for details.

The NSLS-II project includes the design, construction, installation, and commissioning of accelerator hardware, civil construction, and central facilities required to produce a new synchrotron light source. The project includes a highly optimized 3GeV electron storage ring (SR), full-energy injector, experimental beamlines and optics, and appropriate support equipment.

The storage ring contains two superconducting (SC) Radio Frequency (RF) sections that will boost electrons during their circulation. These two SC RF sections require cooling by LHe supplied from an independent cryogenic system. Phase 1 contained only one SC RF section and has been constructed. Phase 2, containing the second SC RF section will now be constructed.

This procurement includes the Valve Box-B needed for the second SC RF section.

BSA is seeking manufacturers that meet or exceed all operating parameters of the reference equipment.
