The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to issue a Request for Proposal for Installation of Fiber Optic Conduit for the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS on or about May 20, 2019, unless additional notice is given, or this notice is modified or cancelled, the full solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov).
The dollar magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. (See FAR 36.204)
The NAICS is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors applies and the business size standard is $15.0 Million.
This solicitation is being issued as tiered evaluation with the following tiers: (1) SDVOSB concerns, (2) VOSB concerns, (3) small business concerns with HUBZone small business concerns and 8(a) participants having priority; and (4) large business concerns. If award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled and the requirement resolicited.
Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is set-aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive.
To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB and VOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov.
