NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF AIRPORTS TAXICAB OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT CONCESSION AT LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The City of Los Angeles is seeking competitive proposals for the taxicab operations management concession at Los angeles International Airport (LAX). The successful proposer will be responsible for managing taxicab dispatch, assisting the public with taxicab services, administrating taxicab driver rules, performing vehicle inspections, and performing airport patrols to deter unauthorized taxicabs from operating at LAX.
The Concessionaire will be required to make a capital investment in the operation of the concession, including a cashless fee collection system, as well as other facilities in the holding lot as described in the RFP. The RFP can be downloaded from the Citys Business Assistance Virtual Network at http://www.labvn.org. There is a mandatory pre-submittal meeting and facility tour on April 22nd, and proposals are due June 1st, 2009.
