NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE
The Office of Naval Research (ONR) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, on or about 30 September 2017 to BALLSTON INVESTOR GROUP I, LLC. located at 875 N RANDOLPH ST # 100 ARLINGTON, VA, 22203-1995 since they are the only responsible source as the property manager for the owner and lessor of the building, including the parking garage. ONR and several other entities, under the conditions of a General Services Administration (GSA) lease, occupy the office space at One Liberty Center (OLC), 875 North Randolph Street, Arlington, VA 22203-1995, and the parking garage under the building is not included in the current lease agreement. The period of performance will include a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The performance period shall not exceed sixty (60) months.
The intent of this effort is to provide the capability necessary to restrict public vehicle access to the underground portions of One Liberty Center (OLC), 875 North Randolph Street, Arlington, VA in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) requirements.
