NOAA Future Environmental Remote Sensing Capabilities Request for Information (RFI)
Below are answers to two questions received prior to the deadline for questions:
1. Who is performing the NOAA study of future satellite environmental remote sensing capabilities, as described in the RFI?
A. The study is being performed by the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Office of Systems Architecture and Advanced Planning (OSAAP). OSAAP is engaging subject matter expertise from NOAA, NASA, and Federally Funded Research and Development Corporations to conduct this study.
2. When is the referenced study expected to be completed?
A. At present, the study is planned to be completed at the end of calendar year 2016.
