PRON: AX9F5936AX.  The Government contemplates the awarding of a five year Indefinite Delivery Requirements-type contract, a quantity of 1 each (minimum) up to 580 each (maximum) - during each ordering period. The Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract period shall consist a one year base period with four one-year ordering periods for award at the discretion of the Government to acquire Nitrogen Inerting, NSN: 1560-01-587-1028, Part Number: 7-511642401-001 applicable to the BJ Apache weapon system.

The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing (FAT) is 439 Days After Receipt of Delivery Order (DARO) and  without FAT is 293 DARO and with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002.

This item has an AMRC Code of 1B and must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR).  The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.


The FedBizOpps.gov website will be used to issue the solicitation, amendments or any other information concerning the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 29 April 2019.

The anticipated award date is on or about 1 December 2019.
