Unites States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, National Forests in Alabama is requesting proposals for road resurfacing within the boundaries of the National Forests in Alabama, specifically the Shoal Creek Ranger District, 45 Highway 281 Heflin, AL 36264. The work to be performed by the contractor consists of, but is not limited to, resurfacing approximately 1.00 mile of the total 5 miles of NFSR 553 (with associated subgrade repair).
This solicitation is a 100% HUBZone BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
The resultant contract will be firm fixed priced issued to one contractor.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a Small business size standard of $36.5M.
This construction project has a magnitude between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
A PAYMENT BOND AND PEFORMANCE BOND IS REQUIRED.
NOTE: Offeror must be ACTIVE in the System for Award Management (http://www.sam.gov) at the time solicitations are due. Those contractors not active in SAM at the time solicitations are due will be rejected and not considered for award.
A site visit will be held on July 23, 2019 at 11:00am (Central Time) at the Shoal Creek Ranger District Office. SEE SECTION L OF THE SOLICATION. While this is not mandatory it is strongly recommended that all interested contractors attend the site visit.
