NEVADA LEGISLATURE ORAL HISTORY PROJECT
The Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) of the State of Nevada is requesting proposals from professionals qualified to conduct video and audio recorded oral history interviews for the Nevada Legislature Oral History Project. This Request For Proposals (RFP) is for the completion of the first phase of the project, which will result in a collection of recorded oral histories and transcripts by June 30, 2009. The Nevada Legislature Oral History Project will archive and make available to the public the transcripts and digital audio or video recordings of interviews with Legislators who have shaped the political history of the State of Nevada. These oral histories will capture pieces of the institutional memory of the Nevada Legislature, which will enhance the historical understanding of public policy, political culture, and the legislative process in Nevada.
