NDI Gantry Ultrasonic Inspection System

PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION
The 402nd Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) at Robins AFB, GA, has a requirement for a turnkey Gantry Ultrasonic Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) System. The system shall be designed to completely utilize Through Transmission (TT) and Pulse Echo (PE) testing to create B and C scans to help the operator identify internal flaws, water entrapement, delamination, and disbounds though a a two tower gantry mounted system. The basicis system shall be installed in Building 169 (see Appendix A). Additionally, this requirement will include a contract option to retrofit the existing system in Building 323 with all new motion and ultrasonic components.
