NBPTS Web Based Electronic Application
The contractor will be expected to design, develop, implement and document a complex, comprehensive National Board fo Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Web-Based Electronic Application that will assist Illinois teachers who wish to pursue National Board Certification, to assist in tracking mentoring/professional development hours, and to be used to apply for annual stipends and mentoring incentives in accordance with Section 21-27 of the School Code and Section 25.444 of the agency's administrative rules.
The web-based system must collect, store and manage NBPTS information in a centralized database that is retrieved from other database resources, such as the Teacher Certification Inquiry System (TCIS) and the Educator Certification System (ECS).
